Goodnow Farms Almendra Blanca 77% Cacao

Goodnow Farms Almendra Blanca 77% Cacao Bar is one they are proud of!  Almendra Blanca means “white almond.” The white color of this bean gives the finished bar a lighter look despite its high cacao content.  Farmer Vicente Cacep grows these beans on his family farm in Tabasco, Mexico.

As with all of Goodnow Farms Chocolate bars, this is crafted with their house-made cocoa butter, freshly pressed from the same fine flavor beans they use to make the chocolate. At their New England farm, every step of the process is designed to bring out the full flavor potential of each distinctive type of bean.

Goodnow Farms is passionate about flavor!
Like coffee beans and wine grapes, different cacao beans have different flavors. By using beans sourced from only one farm or region we’re able to highlight the distinct flavor characteristics of that particular bean. Discovering those flavors is one of the joys of making (and eating) single-origin craft chocolate!

Mexico, 77% Cacao

Goodnow Farms Almendra Blanca 77% Cacao tasting notes are creamy citrus and hazelnut. Great for pairing with a sweet dessert wine.
